Comments not loading in real time

I have a problem that is affecting my entire site. Real time features dont seem to be working.

My firebug gives me this error whenever I try and type text into a comment box or when I click on "share" next to the time stamp

Does anyone know why this is happening? I have seen a few people have the same problem but none have been resolved. I tried to upgrade sharetronix and It still does not work.

This error started showing up after i added a cronjob to my site. I dont know if that might be causing the problem. I changed the cronjob enabled to "FALSE" but still the same problem.
